TURBOROD™ E7018 Welding Rods

A basic coated hydrogen controlled MMA electrode for all positional welding of Carbon and Manganese steels giving a good cosmetic finish to mild steel welds. Available in three sizes to suit your needs.

Features and Benefits

• All positional construction makes for a versatile product

• Low hydrogen potassium iron powder coating

• Low temperature properties down to -30°C

• Low Spatter ensures a smooth finish when welding

• Smooth, stable quiet arc for neat joints

• Good penetration ensures strength of joints and offers a firm hold

• Double deoxidisers manganese and silicon to help weld through certain levels of dirt, debris or mill scale that can be commonly found on structural steel

• Pipework and forgings

• Ideal for repair of castings of machinery

• Used where rutile deposits may be at rick of cracking

•Ideal for construction of pressure vessels and structural fabrication work requiring charpy impact properties at sub zero temperatures such as BS 1501-LT 30 boiler plate and BS4360 and grade 50D structural steel
